£55.00

As seen on the cover of the amazing new album

Benjamin Britten : Canticles

Cookworthy Knapp was taken using a slow shutter speed whilst travelling through Devon towards Cornwall.

Part of my ongoing ‘Journey’ series. Taken from the passenger seat of a moving car, these images capture those inconsequential daydreaming moments of a long journey, gazing at fleeting views that linger for a second and then pass.

Cookworthy Knapp - Devon, Perfectly perched on top of the hill, these one hundred and forty beech trees are nicknamed by many residents of Cornwall as the 'The Nearly Home Trees'. Officially they're called Cookworthy Knapp and they can be seen as you progress down the A30 towards Cornwall. I no longer live in Cornwall so technically I can't really use the nickname. But when I visit my dad in Newquay I still see The Nearly Home Trees as a sign that my journey is almost over and that the Cornish border isn't far away...
